The first step is to remove the filter from the front grille. After removing it, sprinkle water on it and use a rag. Apply detergent on the filter. After the filter becomes soapy, submerge it in a tray of hot water and keep aside for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, remove the filter from water and rinse it with warm water. Hang it up to dry.

After this, remove the front grille from the main body. Then, take out the metal cover by unscrewing the screws. Keep these screws in the tin can. Then take out the oil plugs of the fan to display the oil holes using screwdrivers. Apply few drops of oil to the oil holes. Then remove dirt and dust from the front fin using the brush.

Once the dirt is gone, spray the surface with greasers or spray cleaners. After 15 minutes, slowly pour hot water to remove all the dirt. Be careful using water. The water shouldn’t come into contact with the electrical cables, wires and the refrigerator coils. The same process of cleaning and watering needs to be done for the condenser. Then, wipe the fan blades using a rag. The final step is to vacuum the entire unit. Any excess water should be drained out.
